The ‘Magic Mat‘.
‘MagicMat’ is a conceptual product, based around the LEGO system. It is an interactive device that kids could use to playfully learn about an almost unlimited canopy of things, by placing lego pieces on a pressure-sensitive & light-emitting surface, which connects wirelessly & in real-time to a smartphone or tablet, via an especific App.
WHY? Children of today & tomorrow, are learning their way into this world more and more through a digital lens. So, in order to balance things out, this product is intended for kids to experience both the physical and the digital world simultaneously, and stimulate all of their senses, especially the sixth sense… PLAY. LEGO provides a perfect open space, so that kids can use the full capacity of their imagination to explore and learn in their own way.
