Toy design for Kinder Egg & Joy (Ferrero).

This was a project done in collaboration with the chocolate company Kinder Surprise (Ferrero). I was tasked with designing the toys that come inside both the Kinder Surprise and Kinder Joy products. The end result of my process was a toy with a simple mechanism that provides a certain motion to it, as well as being able to be attached to zippers on clothes of kids, in order for them to be able to interact with the toy and their bodies in a different way.

Zipper Toy.

I focused mostly on the relationship between the product, children and adults/parents themselves. I was able to spot a clear gap between the latter (children/adults), and I realised that Kinder has quite some potential by acting as a nexus between the two. Kinder products are aimed specifically at children, but the only way for them to reach them, is through adults, who are the main consumers/buyers. So...why leave them aside when it comes to the play experience itself?
